Matt presented at the BCM James T. Willerson, MD Cardiovascular Sciences Seminar Series, marking the lab’s first external invited talk. It was a great opportunity to share our work with the broader cardiovascular community.

Matt presented at the Immuno-Cardiology Symposium at Jackson Laboratory/MDI Biological Laboratory, marking the 20th anniversary of his summer there as an undergraduate. He enjoyed reconnecting with the MDI community and meeting with current trainees. Read more about his visit.

The DeBerge and Kim laboratories gather to celebrate Bo Ryung Lee, who is leaving to start her medical training at the Long School of Medicine at UTHSC-San Antonio. She will be missed after a productive year in the lab but we’re excited for her to continue her journey and wish her all the best!

The entire laboratory participates in the inaugural Institute of Perioperative Medicine research retreat! Matt gave a talk with poster presentations by Bo, Swapna, and Ripon. Swapna took home 3rd prize in the poster competition. Great work team!
